3 Simple Steps for Success on Linkedin

LinkedIn is the best social media platform for building your brand, generating leads and growing your network.

It’s a great place to connect with your ideal clients, share your vision and mission and attract good quality leads. People are in a different mindset when they’re on LinkedIn, it’s professional and where decision makers hang out.

It is easy to target your audience directly and grow your authority and reputation by sharing best practice and supporting others.

It is so much more than a CV database, it is your digital reputation.

So here is a basic strategy to get you started on LinkedIn

  1. Engage everyday for 15 minutes. Comment on people’s posts, offer them support and encouragement (don’t pitch that’s a ❌) Also, just liking a post is not enough, that is not building relationships.

  2. Grow your audience - keep adding interesting creators, competitors and your ideal clients. You want a mix to maximise your own 2nd degree connections so that when you comment on others posts it is seen by your audiences’ network.

  3. Post your own content 2 - 3 times a week. Ensure there is a purpose for every post you share. I shared a personal post this week as my profile views had dropped due to Easter holidays and now it’s back again and it boosted my reach.

Get into a weekly routine of following the 3 steps above and you will definitely reap the benefits by reaching more people, building trust and showing your expertise.

I hope this helps!
