How do I find saved posts on LinkedIn?
You know those interesting posts that you want to read but don’t have time for, and when you go back to find them they are nowhere to be seen!
I know I’ve wasted a load of time looking back for posts that I didn’t quite have the time to read and then scrolling aimlessly hoping to find them again.
You may too - and it can be frustrating!
Or you bookmark the posts but still don’t know where to find them! Especially if you have a spare half hour to read or watch that thought leadership piece you’ve been wanting to focus on.
How to save a post
Some people may not even know that you can save a post on LinkedIn, it is easy when you know how! There are 3 dots on the top right corner of every post - click on the dots and it will give you the option to ‘Save’ 🔖
I use this feature a lot and it really is useful.
How to find the post once it’s saved
Now this is the tricky bit - as it is not clear and the bookmark icon for saving and saved posts is different! The bookmark is a white icon where you ‘Save’. The saved posts are under a black bookmark icon.
Confused - yes!
Here are the simple steps to find your saved posts:
From phone or tablet
Go to your profile picture
Click on ‘View profile’ under your profile picture
Scroll down your profile to ‘Resources’ section
Click ‘Show all 5 resources’
Click ‘My Items’
Click ‘Saved Posts’
You can choose ‘All’ or ‘Articles’
From desktop
Go to ‘Me’ your profile picture on the top right
Click on ‘View profile’
Scroll down your profile to ‘Resources’ section
Click ‘Show all 5 resources’
‘My Items’ will show up on the left hand side of the screen
Navigate to ‘Saved Posts’
You can choose ‘All’ or ‘Articles’
How to unsave items
Go to the 3 dots on the top right corner once you’re read the post / article and you can click ‘Unsave’
